I've built myself a refuge

Closed off from other people

The fear of rejection

Is strong enough to hold me back

I never let anyone in

And if you try, I will push you back

It's hard to believe that

Anyone could love me

I'm just a person so

Small and lowly 

How could I matter to You

After all that I've done

I'm just so small
